The Holidays – A Time for New Goals and New Careers

It’s that time of the year again when we start thinking about festive parties, family gatherings, busy schedules, and lots of good food. Many people also begin reflecting on the past year and thinking of things they wish could be different next year.

It’s not too early to start thinking about these new year’s resolutions, or at least your goals and dreams for the coming new year. Some of the most common new year’s goals are a desire to make more money, and a desire to have a more personally fulfilling job or career.

New Changes for a New Year

While we cannot make any guarantees, here at Central Coast College we aim to help people their goals.

What are some of your goals and dreams for the upcoming new year? Do you want to make a change in your life? Have you been thinking about:

• Finding a new career with more opportunities or room for advancement
• Finding a new career that is challenging and lets you work with interesting things, people, and ideas
• Changing industries or pursuing a new interest
• Providing more money or stability for your family

Our students come from many different backgrounds and have many different reasons for choosing the programs at Central Coast College. Our programs run year-round, and we offer everything from Accounting and Office Administration to Medical Assisting, Veterinary Technology and more. And, we have a Career Services Department which provides assistance in finding employment in that new career.
