Central Coast College offers several short programs that can be completed in less than a year, including these programs which can be completed in as few as 9 months!
- Medical Assisting – 46 weeks – Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion, Medical Assisting Diploma.
- Dental Assisting – 34 weeks (morning/afternoon program) or 42 weeks (evening program) – Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion, Dental Assisting Diploma and X-Ray Certification.
- Nursing Assistant – 6 weeks – Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion, Nursing Assistant Diploma.
- Pharmacy Technician – 18 weeks – Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion, Pharmacy Technician Diploma and are prepared for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam to earn the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
- Phlebotomy Technician – 12 weeks – Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion, Phlebotomy Technician Diploma and are prepared to test for certification through the State of California.
- Sterile Processing Technician – 34 weeks – Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion, Sterile Processing Technician Diploma.
- Veterinary Assistant – 38 weeks – Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion, Veterinary Assistant Diploma.
