Congrats 2021/2022 Grads!

Central Coast College Graduates Enter the Job Market with our Support

Graduation season is here! Last month, Central Coast College was proud to see over 160 students graduate from our programs and join our in–person celebrations. We congratulate these graduates for their dedication and perseverance in completing their programs, and we are excited to see them take the next step as they transition into the job market.

At CCC, we are committed to supporting our students with job placement assistance, and we are proud of the placement rates we maintain. As an accredited institution through the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET), Central Coast College must meet certain placement numbers in order to maintain our accreditation, and we consistently meet and even exceed that requirement. To learn more about the standards required by our accrediting agency, go to accet.org.

CCC’s accredited programs prepare students for success in their chosen career path by providing practical, relevant training. Diploma programs at CCC, including Medical Assisting, Ultrasound Technician, and Veterinary Assistant, feature an externship course. By participating in the externship, students apply the knowledge and skills they have learned in the classroom to a real-world setting. Students receive on-the-job experience, thoroughly preparing them for the realities of their future positions. Some even get hired at their externship sites!

“Attending Central Coast College has been challenging but at the same time, it has been awesome. Knowing that there are people that really care for you and for your future gives everyone a great feeling. The instructors are always there to help you out and to motivate you… All training is well provided for you to find the confidence to go to the real world and get not the job, but the career you were looking for… or at least, this happened to me…  I feel so blessed that I did my part and before even graduating, I got hired by an institution owned by Monterey County where I hope to move up and get to the place I want to be at.”

 – Jackie F., Central Coast College graduate

Many CCC graduates go on to find employment right here in the Central Coast. The Career Services department supports every student with a wide range of career services, providing the tools and support needed for graduates to successfully transition from school to career.

The Career Services department offers a range of comprehensive services, including:

  • Resume writing assistance
  • Job searching and networking
  • Interviewing skills
  • Job placement assistance

At Central Coast College, we are committed to offering both a quality educational experience, and individualized job placement assistance, so graduates can utilize the knowledge and skills they have gained to successfully enter their chosen career fields. While CCC cannot guarantee employment upon graduation, CCC instructors and Career Services staff consistently seek to assist students with employment opportunities prior to and after graduation. We are proud of our placement rates and our many graduates who have gone on to find rewarding employment in our community!
