Eunice Medrano, Medical Assisting program

A mother of four children, ages 4,7,10 and 11, Eunice is a student in CCC’s Medical Assisting program. Eunice attends CCC because she wants to set a good example for her children and according to Eunice’s Instructor, Madlene Moore-Condon, MSN, RN, “Eunice, you are doing just that!” Moore-Condon chose Eunice for the Student Spotlight because Eunice “is an exemplary example of what hard work and focus can accomplish.” Moore-Condon praised Eunice for her hard work and dedication, saying, “She attends the morning class and yesterday I went to the afternoon class to say hello and who would I find but Eunice. She said she was here helping other students and getting additional practice for her skills! At Central Coast we have Saturday skills lab, Eunice attends as many of those as she can, always helpful to her peers.”
