Duties and Skills for an Accounting Computer Specialist

As a graduate of Central Coast College’s program, you’ll be prepared for a variety of office tasks, such as:

  • Operating accounting systems, bookkeeping software, and specialized databases
  • Word Processing
  • Tracking and filing receipts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, profit and loss records, and other financial records
  • Updating or creating computerized spreadsheets
  • Managing or tracking payroll
  • Performing basic math tasks and checking records for accuracy

 

With your skillset and diploma, you could find yourself working as an Accounting Clerk, Assistant Bookkeeper, Bookkeeper, Accounts Receivable Clerk, Accounts Payable Clerk, or Auditing Clerk in a wide range of professional environments.
